Clean Yard
City park clean-ups, with tools and tea provided by the organisers.
Clean Yard is an environmental initiative that cleans up one of Bishkek's parks or courtyards every two weeks. Gloves, bags and rakes are handed out on site — all you need is clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
Each shift runs about three hours and ends with tea and samsa. If you've recently moved to the city, it's the easiest way to meet people here.
Organisers announce the next location on Qoom+ a week ahead, so it's easy to pick a site near home.
